From Everywhere to Everywhere: Mobilising Resources for Global Mission
While the percentage of Christians worldwide has remained steady, their geographical distribution has shifted dramatically. A few decades ago, over 80% of Christians lived in Europe and North America (the Global North), where mission workers and resources flowed from the wealthy, charitable churches to the needy recipients in Africa, Asia and elsewhere (the Global South).
But things have changed. Today, most Christians are in the Global South. However, the bulk of resources, particularly financial ones, are still concentrated in the Global North. This imbalance has led to all kinds of dependencies and challenges in sustaining and growing local giving to Christian mission work.
Yet there is hope. By collaborating on more inclusive ways to share resources, we can break these dependencies and accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
The Ministry Fundraising Network (MFN) makes this collaboration possible.

The Ministry Fundraising Network (MFN) is a global platform for collaboration and a resource hub dedicated to equipping Christian fundraisers and ministry leaders with the biblical and practical tools they need to grow financially sustainable churches and ministries.
We are a dynamic community committed to fostering local giving, sharing knowledge, and working together to accelerate the fulfilment of the Great Commission.
Listening – Learning - Amplifying - Building
MFN seeks to listen to Christian leaders and fundraisers worldwide to understand their unique challenges and to create spaces for sharing stories of sustainable giving, frustrations and failures.
We amplify the voices of local theologians, mission and church leaders who are passionate about teaching and preaching about giving and fundraising in the regions. And the creation of local Bible teaching materials and other resources that can help leaders grow local giving and develop sustainable fundraising practices.
Additionally, we facilitate training, coaching and knowledge exchange across different regions, enabling leaders to learn from each other’s best practices.
