What is MFN?
The Ministry Fundraising Network (MFN) is a global platform for collaboration and a resource hub dedicated to equipping Christian fundraisers and ministry leaders with the biblical and practical tools they need to grow financially sustainable churches and ministries.
We are a dynamic community committed to fostering local giving, sharing knowledge, and working together to accelerate the fulfilment of the Great Commission.
Origins
The Ministry Fundraising Network (MFN) was born out of the Lausanne Movement's Global Generosity Network (GGN) in 2013, with a vision to shift the focus of mission funding from being predominantly led by the Global North to a more globally inclusive approach.
Recognising that biblically based fundraising is a ministry in itself, MFN has sought to promote this understanding and equip leaders, particularly in the Global South, with the tools to foster local giving and reduce dependency on foreign funding.
MFN is currently led by a group of volunteer Christian ministry leaders, who are seasoned fundraisers and consultants, committed to advancing the mission of biblical stewardship worldwide.

Our Approach
-
Listening and Collaboration:
-
We engage with Christian leaders and fundraisers from around the world to understand their unique fundraising challenges and create spaces for them to share their experiences.
-
Culturally Relevant Training and Equipping:
-
We host regional gatherings, contextualised fundraising and communications training through in-person events and webinars.
-
Knowledge Sharing:
-
We facilitate the exchange of local ideas and best practices across different nations and regions, helping ministry leaders and fundraisers to learn from each other.
-
Community Building:
-
We are creating a global network of Christian fundraisers and leaders who support one another in prayer in their shared mission of advancing the Gospel.
